Exercise
Wall-supported inner-thigh activation drill using controlled leg pressure for adductor engagement and pelvic stability.
Setup instructions
Lie supine on the mat with the hips close enough to the wall to place both feet flat on it. Place a soft prop such as a small ball or folded towel between the inner thighs if available. Position the knees hip-width apart with the feet parallel on the wall. Rest the arms by the sides and engage the core gently.
Breathing cues
Exhale to squeeze. Inhale to hold. Exhale to release.
Movement steps
- 1Inhale to prepare in the start position.
- 2Exhale to squeeze the inner thighs together with controlled, even pressure.
- 3Hold briefly while keeping the pelvis level and the feet steady on the wall.
- 4Inhale to maintain the squeeze with steady breath.
- 5Exhale to release the pressure and repeat.
Common mistakes
Squeezing so hard the pelvis tilts; letting the knees drift apart between reps; holding the breath; pressing the feet unevenly into the wall; using excessive force before control is clear.
Safety notes
Keep the squeeze moderate and even. Stop if groin pinching or sharp hip discomfort appears.

FAQs
Is Wall Inner Thigh Squeeze suitable for beginners?
Yes. The wall supports the legs so the adductors can activate with clear feedback. A soft prop between the thighs is optional but helpful.
What muscles does Wall Inner Thigh Squeeze work?
The adductors drive the squeeze while the glutes and deep core maintain pelvic stability with the feet on the wall.
What is Wall Inner Thigh Squeeze good for?
It builds inner-thigh activation and pelvic stability before magic circle work, reformer frog, and bridge preparation.
