FAQs
Is Wall Bicycle suitable for beginners?
It is best treated as an intermediate core drill. Master wall single leg stretch before adding the cycling leg pattern.
What muscles does Wall Bicycle work?
The deep abdominals and obliques stabilise the trunk while the hip flexors drive the alternating leg cycling pattern.
What is Wall Bicycle good for?
It builds abdominal endurance and hip coordination with wall support before mat bicycle and crisscross progressions.
How is Wall Bicycle different from Wall Scissors?
Wall Bicycle uses a bent-knee cycling pattern, while Wall Scissors extends the working leg through a straight-leg arc. Both use wall leg support.
